For the record, the title refers to what time of the day songwriter Robert Lamm began writing this song – either 25 or 26 minutes to 4:00. While it’s an odd phrase, it became one of Chicago’s most memorable songs.

About the song choice: After the Beach Boys, Chicago may be my favorite band. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen them, but it would take both hands at least. You have to love a band that still uses low brass on stage each night in concert.
