As much as I am trying to introduce Zoe to some of my favorite music, I am also trying to get into some of her music as well.
About the song choice: Alex Warren is Zoe’s favorite artist right now (but that is always subject to change). She got to see him in concert back in May here in Kansas City (which may have made her TikTok famous for a day), and will get to see him again in October in St. Louis. I love seeing the spark in her eyes as she “”discovers”” a new artist and becomes focused on absorbing their entire catalog.
Ordinary is Warren’s biggest song (so far). I wanted to play it for her, but opted to find a variation with this live performance from Lollapalooza.
