Yes, I know that August 24 is a Sunday. Why am I waking my daughter up early on a Sunday morning instead of sleeping in? Because Zoe has to go to work early, and she asked nicely for a wake-up song. So why not give her one of the greatest songs about working ever created?

About the song choice: There is nothing I can add to the public love affair (and rightly so!) of Dolly Parton. I will tell you I am not a fan of country music, but I will listen to Dolly when given the chance. This song is so upbeat, you can’t help smiling as Dolly describes a toxic work environment.
