Over the weekend, there was one of those made-for-TV music awards shows, which gives the current hot artists a stage to perform their current hits and accept a trophy that will sit on a shelf in a bathroom. Anyway, Zoe insisted that we watch it, as her favorite artist Alex Warren was performing. But it did give me the chance to hear (and see) some other newer artists.
About the song choice: Sabrina Carpenter has been on the edges of my awareness for awhile. This is one of Sabrina’s songs that I felt comfortable using as a wake-up tune for Zoe.
