September 30 – Hold On

I had this song in mind for a few weeks now, but just didn’t know when I would use it. I woke up today and had nothing specific in mind, other than I refused to use the Green Day song. Given the negative origins of the Green Day song, I wanted something positive to play today. Hold On for the win!

About the song choice: Of course I am going to like this song, as Wilson Phillips is a direct descendent of the Beach Boys. This song hit big in the early 1990s during my college years. I loved it’s inclusion in the movie Bridesmaids, as the song has become an anthem of women empowerment.
