October 8 – That Thing You Do!

This has been a guilty pleasure of mine since it’s release nearly thirty years ago. There are a handful of movies that I consider nearly perfect, and I would watch again with no hesitation if the opportunity presented itself. This is one of those movies.

About the song choice: I was trying hard to avoid yet another post this week about the artist with the initial T.S. But sometimes, you just have to give in and discuss Tom Everett Scott, who played the drummer Guy “Shades” Patterson. Such a delightful performance in this movie by T.S.
