This is going to be a short week for the blog posts. Zoe was out of school yesterday to take a tour of University of Central Missouri. She has classes today, and then is off for the remainder of the week for parent-teacher conferences. (Which sadly means another Friday without a Beach Boys song!)
About the song choice: Yes, the Monkees were created for television to capitalize on the popularity of the Beatles. But they were also talented musicians who could play their own instruments and command a stage. For their contributions to music (and pop culture), I really think they deserve inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
