Welcome to November! New month, so a new theme. I am declaring November to be all 80s all the time. Yes, this will be somewhat challenging, as the Beach Boys did not put out a lot of new material in the 1980s, and I have already used their biggest hit of this decade (Kokomo) when this project started back in August. But never fear, I will make it work!
About the song choice: What makes the 80s hits so memorable? One word – MTV! The introduction of music videos put faces with all of the music and created hit songs that may not have gotten radio play without the supporting video play. Not that the Go-Go’s needed any extra help.
